Beside the electronic transmission of wage tax return to the tax and revenue office and statements of contributions paid to the health insurance companies, a great number of other notifications, certifications and applications/returns are to be prepared within the framework of your wage accounting.

It is required, for example, to electronically notify unemployment and sick benefits to the relevant authorities. The electronic transmission is prescribed by law according to § 23c Abs. 2 SGB IV (Social Code IV). You in your capacity as employer are required to prepare the sick benefit notifications by safe and coded data transmission from system-verified programs or by means of automatic fill-in aids, transmitting them to the competent health insurance company.
