Corona bridging aid for the months June to August 2020 for small and medium-sized enterprises
- Application and registration started on 8 July 2020 -
The purpose of the bridging aid is to provide further liquidity support to small and medium-sized enterprises directly or indirectly affected by Corona-related conditions or closures for the months June to August 2020. The new programme thus follows on from the German government's emergency aid programme (March to May 2020). Please find more details in English language in the enclosed EGSZ information.
Registered tax advisors and auditors can submit applications for eligible companies as early as 13 July 2020. It is not possible for the companies themselves to submit applications.
The application deadlines end on 30 August 2020, although the programme volume is limited to EUR 25 billion. For this reason, we recommend a short-term review of the eligibility requirements, if this could be a possibility for you.
